Click this link to find out more about what is an LWAP:

The Orleans County Conservation District, along with the Memphremagog Watershed Association and other water resource professionals, hosted the Echo-Seymour Lake Watershed Action Plan (LWAP) Kick Off Meeting on June 14th.

The purpose of this meeting was to introduce the project leadership team, answer questions, and to provide a basic introduction to the LWAP process (to explain what it is and to share the work plan, steps, and timeline).

This meeting was the beginning of the process of identifying through assessments the threats to the lake ecosystems of Echo and Seymour. The end product is a planning guide that prioritizes restoration and protection actions for your subwatershed.
